Our experience
We know product management in the industrial B2B context both from within the organization and from an external perspective.
As general managers, we’ve set product targets and hired product managers. In R&D, we’ve debated, sometimes heated, what to develop and why. As sales managers, we’ve felt the frustration of not having the perfect product for a sales meeting. As product managers, we’ve juggled roadmaps, worked late for big launches, and found inspiration in customer interactions.
As consultants, we have collected best practices from many different types of product management organizations and understand that one size does not fit all. Our client’s unique situation needs to be well understood to be able to solve their product management challenges.
As Product Management training providers, we have met more than 1,000 Product Managers from over 36 countries and felt energized every time a new discussion started in a classroom.
Our approach
We always start with understanding you.
We want to learn all we can about your unique situation, your business environment, what led you to where you are, the dynamics that are changing your current situation and how you define success. Together, we then define the way forward, always keeping an eye on what will deliver the most value to you.
We make it stick. We use coaching methods extensively that make you reflect, create stronger ownership of the outcome of your projects and increase the probability of a successful change program. And we are not afraid to ask the uncomfortable questions.
We balance ”hard” and ”soft”. We have the necessary tools, models and resources but we also know that success ultimately comes from people committing, understanding and using the tools correctly.
